The Los Padres Center
The Los Padres Center is located on the grounds of the Camp San Luis Obispo National Guard Base and is right next door to Cuesta Community College. It was the first CCC residential center to open, back in 1977, and has been at the base ever since.
The current facility, built in the 1980s, is home to 80 corpsmembers. The Central Coast center devotes many hours to trail work, from Big Sur to the Los Padres National Forest, and also has an annual work exchange with the Montana Conservation Corps.
