OVERVIEW:
As the end of the season closes to the final days, we here at Kings Canyon have had the time of our lives. An experience to hold and cherish for years to come-- the work, the relationships, the community and the life we lived in the backcountry of Kings Canyon National Park.
Theres magic that takes place in ones soul out in the wild. We were blessed to have felt that magic. This changed all of us for the better both physically and mentally. You can say too, that a spiritual awakening happens amongst ones self in the woods.
A very special thanks to all who made this happen, the CCC staff, NPS staff, Americorps, and those behind the scenes. Thank you, very much from the bottom of our hearts!
CURRICULUM:
Civics classes, Federal job application classes, National Park History, game night and much more exciting classes were held. End-of-season evaluations were filled out and we continued our Community Meetings too. Nights of relaxation took place as well.
