If you want to work in the fast paced world of emergency services, the CCC is a great way to get in shape, learn the basics, and find out about job opportunities around California. Corpsmembers have provided millions of hours of dedicated work in just about every large emergency in the last 30 years including fires, floods, oil spills, earthquakes and a host of agricultural catastrophes. The CCC has performed countless search and rescue operations and staffs public assistance centers during large-scale disasters.
The CCC is a uniformed service with a rank structure that operates team-based crews of 12-20 Corpsmembers. Corpsmembers can receive training in Flood Fighting Techniques, CPR & First Aid, HAZMAT Limited Task Worker, Camp Support, Fire Suppression, Tool Use & Safety Training, Oil Spill Cleanup, Scaffolding, and Power Actuated Tool Use.
