The CCC has three OPEN examinations given on a continuous basis. Anyone that meets the minimum qualifications will be allowed to compete in the examinations. The exam bulletins can be accessed under Exams below.
In order to be eligible for positions with the CCC, you must either take an examination and be placed on the eligible list or already work for the state and be eligible to transfer.
Applicants must specify eligibility for appointment (lateral transfer, training and development, employment list, reinstatement). Successful candidates must also provide proof of appropriate citizenship or immigration status before a final hiring commitment is made. All appointments are subject to the State Restrictions of Appointment and Reemployment lists. Applicants may be screened and only the most competitive applicants contacted and interviewed.
